(1)主要成膜物质:它包含油脂和树脂，是决定涂膜性能的主要因素，可以单独成膜，也可以粘结颜料等成膜物质，又称基料，主要有丙烯酸树脂、有机硅改性聚酯树脂、醇酸树脂、有机硅改性醇酸树脂、含氟树脂、石油树脂、环氧树脂、环氧酷、氯化橡胶、聚乙烯聚丙烯树脂、聚氨酯树脂等。

(3)辅助成膜物质:它包含各种溶剂和助剂。辅助成膜物质不能单独成膜，，只是对涂料形成涂膜的过程或涂膜性能起辅助作用。溶剂(或水)可以调节涂层的粘度及固体份含量。辅助成膜物质包含各种溶剂和助剂。阻热材料所用的是稀释剂，是基料和颜料的载体，为了便于喷洒施工加入的进行稀释的惰性物质。阻热材料和油漆的物理状态比较接近，是靠涂布喷洒施工到沥青路面，所以我们将阻热材料的溶剂称作稀释剂。
